Why the firm exists

Brogdon Law Group is an independent South Carolina firm focused almost exclusively on personal injury. New as a name — not as a practice. Founder James E. Brogdon III was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2010 and spent the first seven years of his career defending insurance companies and their insureds, trying personal injury cases to verdict. He knows precisely how the other side values a claim — and now that judgment works for injured people. It is what makes the firm fearless where it counts: across the table from an insurance company.
The founding conviction is that an injured person needs two things at once: experienced judgment about their options, and plain answers about what happens next. Plenty of firms offer the first. Brogdon Law Group is built so the second is never an afterthought.

Brogdon Law Group exists to do two things without compromise: give injured people plain answers about where they stand, and fight — fearlessly — for the outcome they choose to pursue. The group is led by founder James E. Brogdon III, Marion’s city attorney, with James “Jim” E. Brogdon Jr. — a former circuit court judge and Santee Cooper general counsel and CEO — serving of counsel. Deep experience, human scale, and a standard set high on purpose.
